Well as Orbitcast reported there is a Rumor circulating around on Insider Radio that O & A might be replacing Adam Carolla. This isn’t a shocker in my opinion I think Adam’s show is a notch above what David Lee Roth’s was. The ratings just aren’t there either.
This would open up the flood gates on the west coast for the boys. I think if it happens it’ll be huge !!!!
Well I think this one was just a matter of time. I mean how long did people think it would be until Opie and Anthony would be heard in XM’s home town of Washinton DC. Well, according to this its not too far off. The thing I find most interesting about it is that the article eludes to O & A picking up the mid day spot @ WJFK. I dont think they’ll have any issues roping in listeners then, but I do find that time slot an intriguing place to put the boys.
I’m filing this one as rumor, but probably not for long.
Well now that the deal with CBS is pretty much done and O & A are going to be simulcast on terrestrial. There was alot of talk of some new talent coming to XM 202. I hope Patrice O’Neal is part of that. I hope that XM is really going to grow the channel, now seems like the perfect time to do that while the iron is hot. I really enjoy Ron & Fez and would love to see more talent on XM 202….I think Lex and Terry would be a great addition as well.
Good things are going to be happening on that end of the dial I have a feeling 
This is another one of those worst kept secret sort of things. XM is in talks now with CBS now to broadcast the boys in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and West Palm Beach back on terrestrial radio. My slant on this is as long as it doesnt compromise the integrity of the show then I’m all for it. It’ll be interesting to see how this deal gets set up. The show for terrestrrial would undoubtedly be stripped down. The big thing I wonder is how much. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes.

Tonight from 8 PM -11 PM ET tonight The Lazlo show will be appearing on High Voltage XM 202. This show used to be on Krock. I’ve heard these guys once before and have been on the fence about them. If interested there is more info here

This week I havent been listening to The Worst of O & A since they are on vacation and I wanted to venture out a little. I really haven’t listened to Lex and Terry a whole lot until now. These guys have absolutely won me over as a loyal listener. I really really enjoy these guys ALOT. There’s alot about these guys that’s real and down to earth (like O & A in a way). The shows I listened to this week were pretty good. Alot of advice giving and alot of fun honest talk. It’s alot cleaner than O & A because it is a terrestrial show rebroadcast on XM.
I would love to see these 2 chartacters come on over to XM, but I don’t see it happening. In any event if you want to check out Lex and Terry (and I highly recommend it) they are on ExtremeXM - XM 152 from 1-4 PM ET.
Today on Opie and Anthony E-Lo let the cat out of the bag and XM Liquid Metal is coming back to your receivers soon. This is very cool. I’m not a huge metal fan but I do like it from time to time. This move really shows me that XM truly listens to their listeners. XMLM probably shouldnt have been yanked anyways. I hope this is a sign of things to come, it’d sure be nice to see Special X and On the Rocks return.
As far as this move goes, all I have to say is this is what XM Satellite Radio is all about !!!!
I usually don’t make posts about Howard Stern, but here’s one of those times where I find it neccessary. Howard admitted to giving O & A the gag order on The Sean Hannity Show yesterday. O & A have been raving about this for years and now that he’s admitted this I think this really gives the boys the upperhand as well as credibility. As far as Howard’s comments on this all I gotta say is what a scumbag. He used his position and influence to not only keep the boys from doing what they love, but also keeping them unemployed as well…I mean what kind of crappy thung to do. I dont want you competing with me so I’m going to get other people to handle the dirty work for me is what Howard is saying…grrrrr
Well on today’s show the boys fed the rumors of them syndicating to terrestrial even more. However, they tried to justify this in several ways. One thing they eluded to that I thought was good is that they would be on the air more. I think the scenario would be something like they would work more and with terrestrial radio and commercials it really wouldn’t make for much extra time they would have to in. They also mentioned that wouldn’t jeopardize their relationship with XM in any way shape or form. XM is the best thing that has ever happened to them and they know it….ummm I think.
It could be a good plan if this is something they wish to pursue. The only thing that concerns me is burn out. But that’s ok as long as I dont hear stale content I’m very happy Sounds like this might just possibly be in the works. My slant on this is as long as it doesnt affect the show I’m good .
I got a slew of email today about how O & A are going to replace David Lee Roth. The gist of all of this is that DLR is making waves and that there is talk of syndicating of their show to replace him. I’ve had this link sent to me by multiple individuals.
My slant on this whole thing is that its a posting on a message board and you should take that for what its worth. On top of that think about this…who wants a watered down version of O &A ? If they rebroadcast on terrestrial thats what you are looking at here. I see this as such a bad proposition. From the boys standpoint I dont see this as a stellar move…I think its just going to create such havoc for so many reasons….bottomline in my view is……say it ain’t so !!!!
