With the rebirth of XM Liquid Metal I know alot of the folks (including me) are super psyched about this, but it poses another question. What about Boneyard ? I hear constant complaints about this channel. The focus of this station is supposed to be 80’s Metal, which in theory sounds simple enough. Boneyard used to be like this. These days it seems to be all over the place and alot of lesser known songs seem to be getting airtime. The issue here is that Boneyard seems to have no cohesive sound to it. Boneyard seems to have just lost direction in my opinion. Will XMLM help the Boneyard get that focus ? That remains to be seen, but I would love to see that happen.

This past week I took a short trip this past week to the beach. I’m normally one of those people that doesnt get out much (I have no life what can I say). When I was on my little trip I noticed ALOT of restaurants, shops, and what not had XM on. It was almost like a Twilight Zone thing…scary stuff huh ? I also played a little game to pass the time while driving. The game was to see how many XM Radios I could see mounted on people’s dashboards. I spotted 19 XM Radios on a 5 hour not bad at all for some maniac going 80 MPH :)
