Ryan S. @ Orbitcast posted a link to a thread going on over @ XM Fan that Ryan M. started. If you click through over to XM Fan you’ll see the XM Bulletin there and if you read the info there he mentions that XM will be matching the commercial content versions of Nashville, Mix, Kiss, and Sunny with non-commercial versions of the stations.

That’s interesting and funny as hell all at once. With this in mind who in their right mind is going to listen to those commercial stations except some execs over @ Clear Channel. I guess this is XM’s idea of spitting in the face of Clear Channel. As long as its not compromising bandwidth (and I dont think E-Lo is) this is a stroke of genius. Talk about making the best of a bad situation….I like it :)

Well on today’s show the boys fed the rumors of them syndicating to terrestrial even more. However, they tried to justify this in several ways. One thing they eluded to that I thought was good is that they would be on the air more. I think the scenario would be something like they would work more and with terrestrial radio and commercials it really wouldn’t make for much extra time they would have to in. They also mentioned that wouldn’t jeopardize their relationship with XM in any way shape or form. XM is the best thing that has ever happened to them and they know it….ummm I think.

It could be a good plan if this is something they wish to pursue. The only thing that concerns me is burn out. But that’s ok as long as I dont hear stale content I’m very happy :) Sounds like this might just possibly be in the works. My slant on this is as long as it doesnt affect the show I’m good .

Christopher Cross had a special this evening in the Then…Again…Live! format and it was just nothing short of incredible. This was an awesome performance. His performance this evening made me realize what a special performer he really is. He truly hasn’t lost a step. Don’t forget this show will reair on the following dates and channels:

Wed, Mar. 15 at 9AM ET - The 80s - XM 8

Fri, Mar. 17 at 2PM ET - The Heart - XM 23

Sat, Mar. 18 at 3PM ET - The Blend - XM 25

Sun, Mar. 19 at 3AM ET - The 80s - XM 8

Make sure and catch this one, it was one of the best I’ve heard in this series tus far…excellent job once again XM !!!!
