Stumbled upon a nice article over @ Forbes I haven’t seen too many positive wrietups of Satellite Radio as of late. I feel that alot of the analysts just dont get what its all about. Maybe I dont understand their slant…but yet I do. I know its time for Satellite Radio to start showing profits, which is what this write up is about.
Anyways…very nice writeup from an analyst who seems to get what XM has to offer.
I gave Big Tracks a listen for most of the day. I’m pretty happy with what I’m hearing here as well. This channel fills a void and will allow Top Tracks to be much more focused. The problem with Top Tracks is it tried to cover too much music sometimes and if you listened to it regularly you were probably turned off by it somewhat.
I think this will be the 1st in a line of changes we’ll see to the rock stations. I can’t help but think Charlie Logan’s departure had something to do with this but I can also be way off base here. In any event Big Tracks is definitely a welcomed edition in my book and has already made my preset dial…along with XM Chill ![]()
