For anyone who didnt catch the King Biscuit Flower Hour today on Deep Tracks XM 40 set your XM2Gos for tommorrow @ 9 PM ET. This week we got treated to a 1981 performance of the Rolling Stones. The sound quality was much better than I expected and they sounded great, better quality than the Superbowl in my opinion.

Any thoughts on the King Biscuit Flower Hour ? I know its only the 1st show, but XM has done it once again…very cool stuff !!!!

As most of you know I usually don’t like talking about Howard, but let’s just call this a follow-up to my last Howard post There have been several articles about how Satellite Radio stocks are taking a nose dive.

I find it very interesting that every write up I see about Sirius is directly linked to Howard somehow. You can almost interchange the words Sirius and Howard. Those 2 names should be mutually exclusive. I’ll admit I don’t keep close tabs on Howard, but I do keep my eyes on the Sirius subscriber numbers and that Karmazin can’t be happy with what he’s seeing, on the other hand he got stuck with Howard and didn’t have much say in the matter. Let’s face it if you are an investor in Satellite Radio you better be there for the long haul. What I don’t get is the big sell off lately which is driving the price down of XM and Sirius. The thing I find funny is that Worldspace hasn’t slipped a whole lot and I consider them to be more vulnerable.

I do agree with what some of the analysts are saying. The short sellers are scary. They used to scare me back in the day as well, but in any event. There is one thing that is very clear. Howard is Sirius and I really think there is no escaping that, but he is definitely not Satellite Radio. I think there are approximately 6.2 million people that will atest to that.
