Very Interesting read here, apparently Sirius is counting subscriptions on cars that hit the lot and not actual subscribers. Although, when someone buys a car with a Sirius receiver installed they do get a one year free subscription. The thing that makes this interesting is that XM doesnt even count those free new car subscriptions. I don’t know that anything will become of this, but it sure makes the Sirius subscription count look very suspect to me.
